History: IMU Mounting Instructions

Source of version: 2 (current)

If you want to install the 6-Axis IMU inside the default Bioloid chest compartment, there is space in front of the CM-5, in between the shoulder servos.

The IMU comes with a mounting plate designed specifically for this purpose.

This is the IMU sitting next to the top piece of the chest compartment.

This shows where the IMU slides into place. It should fit reasonably snug.

This shows the IMU pushed all the way onto the mounting location. The top of the IMU should be just under the top plate of the chest compartment.

This final picture shows the IMU, in its mounted location, from the back. Of course, you'll need to plug it in to one of the servo plugs that are available - you should be able to fit the 6-plug connector immediately below the IMU.
